What is this situation?

The room begins to run your day in quiet fragments: you step over packages before work, eat from a corner of the counter, lose chargers in the same box twice, keep twelve product pages open, and put off friends coming over because the place still looks temporary. It is not laziness; it is a home demanding hundreds of linked decisions while money, time, rental rules, delivery delays, and other people's needs keep shifting the floor under each one. By the end of the week, even choosing a lamp can feel like standing in the middle of too many narrow options, much like the figure on the Eight of Swords, bound in place while sharp markers surround every possible step.
