What is this situation?

Care Work Spillover: you wake before sunrise in a rented apartment, checking a care schedule before your first work notification arrives. By midday, your shoulders are still pressed down as you move from a care update to a work deadline, while the person you support and the people you work with each treat their timing as urgent. At work, a late arrival or last-minute absence is treated as a scheduling problem; at home, your laptop is treated as proof that you are still available. Messages from coworkers continue after your shift, while appointments, laundry, forms, and practical decisions wait for no convenient gap. You move between roles without a clean handover, carrying unfinished work into the evening and care tasks into the next morning. Weekends are called time off but fill with errands and coordination, so even small plans require negotiation around someone else's needs.
