What does this feel like?

Shocked Clarity — it hits like a sudden white flash behind your eyes, and for a second your body gets there before your thoughts do: your stomach drops, your throat tightens, your skin feels too awake, and the room seems sharper than it did a minute ago. Nothing may have moved, but everything looks rearranged, as if the blur you were living inside has been wiped off the glass all at once. You replay small details you used to file away as random, and now they click together with a clean, almost uncomfortable precision; the missed tone, the repeated pattern, the pressure you kept absorbing, the excuse that no longer has anywhere to stand. Daily life can feel strangely split after that: you answer messages, make food, sit in traffic, open tabs, but underneath it all one sentence keeps returning — wait, I see it now. The clarity is not soft or comforting, because it arrives with the shock of realizing you cannot unknow what has just become visible. Part of you may want to go back to the old explanation because it was warmer there, blurrier there, easier to breathe there, but another part is already standing in the new brightness, stunned and precise, much like The Tower with lightning striking its crown, making the break unmistakable before the structure has any chance to pretend it is still whole.
